Vindale Research Review | The Best Paid Survey Website

If you want to make money from home, one of the most straightforward options is to use paid survey websites.

Marketing companies and brands want to pay consumers to hear their opinions.

And, while survey sites won’t let you quit your day job, they’re a quick and easy way to make some extra cash in your spare time.

However, it’s important to use a reputable survey website that actually pays.

After all, there are plenty of scammy sites in this space, and your time is valuable!

So, today I’m covering a longstanding player in the paid survey space, Vindale Research.

If you want to learn how to earn real cash with this popular survey website, be sure to read my Vindale Research review until the end.

My Complete Vindale Research Review

How Does Vindale Research Work?

Vindale Research began in 2005.

According to their website, the platform has also paid over $5 million to members since inception.

Like other survey websites, Vindale Research doesn’t create their own surveys.

Rather, this market research panel connects participants with surveys from various research groups and brands that want consumer feedback.

In exchange for answering surveys, you earn cash.

Vindale Research is currently available if you live in:

  • United States
  • The UK
  • Canada
  • Australia

The platform is also free to join. You must be 18 or older to use Vindale Research.

How To Make Money With Vindale Research

The first step in making money with Vindale Research is to sign up.

To create a member profile, you provide:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Street address, country, and Zip code
  • Date of birth
  • Gender and ethnicity

After you sign up, Vindale Research sends a confirmation email.

Following your confirmation, you complete a brief tutorial that asks you additional demographic questions and walks you through your first paid survey.

You earn $1 for the tutorial.

All of this takes roughly 10 minutes.

Afterwards, you’re ready to start exploring the different ways to make money with Vindale Research.

#1. Paid Surveys

Like Survey Club or similar platforms, answering surveys is the main way to earn with Vindale Research.

Survey opportunities appear under the “Studies” tab once you create your account.

Surveys state how much they pay and most have a time estimation as well, which is useful for only picking surveys that are worth it to you.

Vindale Research states surveys pay anywhere between $0.25 to $50 upon completion.

On my profile, most of the opportunities I saw paid between $0.75 to $2 and took 10 minutes to complete.

Many surveys ask short, pre-qualifying questions to ensure you match the demographic the market research company is interested in.

If you don’t, you get disqualified from the survey. Other disqualification reasons include:

  • Inconsistent answers
  • You rushed through the survey
  • The survey has enough completions

If you successfully complete a survey, cash appears in your account.

This usually takes a few minutes but can take up to five business days.

#2. Complete Offers

Another way to make money with Vindale Research is to use its offers section.

Under the “Offers” tab, you can find opportunities to earn extra cash that involve:

  • Submitting your info into sweepstakes or free sample requests
  • Downloading new apps
  • Donating to charities
  • Shopping online

Most of the free offers only pay between $0.50 to $2 at most.

However, some of the online shopping offers are more lucrative.

For example, I’m offered a $24.50 bonus and 50% coupon code for trying Ollie, a dog food subscription.

There are other offers that pay between $2 to more than $20 as well.

The shopping section definitely has the most earning potential out of all the offers.

However, I’d still compare your cashback rates on Vindale Research to other websites like Swagbucks  or Rakuten to find the best deal.

#3. Complete Opinion Polls

Vindale Research sends you survey opportunities via email in addition to displaying available surveys on their website.

However, to earn even more, you can opt-in for email opinion polls under your email preferences.

Opinion polls are short polls that are sent to your inbox.

Each poll pays $0.25, so it’s a fast way to score extra cash.

#4. Refer Friends

Vindale Research’s referral program is another way to make more money with this survey website.

The program is also simple. You get $5 for referring people to Vindale Research.

Your referral must sign up with your unique link and complete a survey worth $1 or more for you to earn $5.

Just note that you can only refer up to five people and your referrals can’t live in the same household or use your computer.

#5. Use Vindale Research Reward Codes

Occasionally, Vindale Research posts reward codes on social media or their blog that let you earn bonus cash.

There isn’t a reward code schedule, so your best bet is to follow Vindale Research on Facebook and Twitter to keep an eye out for some easy cash.

#6. Find Other Jobs

One aspect of Vindale Research I like is their jobs section.

Vindale Research has actually partnered with job sites to find full-time, part-time, and short gig opportunities in the United States.

You can find a list of jobs under the “Jobs” tab, and jobs appear depending on your Zip code.

In my area, I found jobs posted 12 hours ago, so it’s clear that this job board is active.

Ultimately, I think it’s a positive sign that this paid survey website also encourages members to find high-paying jobs to boost their income.

Vindale Research Payment Methods

Vindale Research only pays through PayPal.

Additionally, you need $50 to request a payment.

Unfortunately, you can’t withdraw money anytime.

Vindale Research has payment request deadlines every two weeks, so you submit a request once you reach $50 and then wait to cash out.

It’s also worth noting Vindale Research pays in multiples of $50.

So, if you cash out with $54.75, you only receive $50 through PayPal and the additional $4.75 stays in your account until you cash out again.

Advantages And Drawbacks

Vindale Research is a longstanding player in the paid survey space with some unique features.

If you’re on the fence about using this platform, here are several pros and cons to consider.

Earn Real Cash. You can’t earn free gift cards, but nothing really beats cash rewards.

High-Paying Surveys. While I didn’t see any $50 surveys, Vindale Research states paid surveys can reach up to $50, so there’s some higher earning potential here.

Job Board. Vindale Research helps connect you with higher-paying jobs in your area.

Multiple Earning Options. Surveys, online shopping, email polls, and a decent referral program help you earn faster.

Works In Several Countries. Vindale Research is on-par with other paid survey websites in terms of available countries.

High Cash Out Minimum. A $50 payment minimum is one of the highest in the paid survey space.

Can’t Cash Out Immediately. Two week payment delays isn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s a downside worth noting if you need money fast.

$50 Multiples. Cashing out in $50 intervals means some of your ‘excess’ funds get tied up in your account until your next redemption.

No Sign Up Bonus. Survey websites like MyPoints pay $10 for signing up and completing a shopping offer, so a lack of any bonus is a downside.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Making money with Vindale Research is straightforward.

However, it’s worth covering some common questions people have about this survey website.

Is Vindale Research legit?

Vindale Research is a legit company that has plenty of payment proof and a history of letting users cash out.

Negative Vindale Research reviews usually stem from the $50 cash out requirement, so keep this in mind.

However, if you’re willing to grind to $50, Vindale Research should pay you.

Who can use Vindale Research?

As mentioned, you must be 18 or older to sign up for Vindale Research.

Additionally, you must live in the United States, UK, Canada, or Australia.

Using a VPN to try and game the system won’t work or will get you banned.

How do I earn more?

The best way to earn more money is to frequently check for survey opportunities.

If a high-paying survey appears, you want to answer it quickly before other participants snag it.

I’d also recommend leveraging the shopping portal if you find a product or service you were planning on buying anyway.

Shopping through Vindale Research is a simple way to earn an extra $5 to $20 or even more, so keep this tip in mind.

Vindale Research Alternatives

Vindale Research is useful for making extra cash in your spare time.

However, some sites like Vindale Research that are also worth testing include:

  • Survey Junkie. Answer surveys and cash out with free gift cards or PayPal at just $5!
  • Swagbucks. This leading get-paid-to website has an immense amount of earning options and lets you cash out at only $1.
  • Branded Surveys. Another popular survey website with a strong loyalty program that pays bonuses for completing more surveys. (Click here to read my review to learn more.)
  • Survey Club. Answer surveys or take part in higher-paying focus groups with this popular market research platform. (Click here to read my review to learn more.)
  • MyPoints. Similar to Swagbucks in that you can complete surveys as well as other tasks to earn money. (Click here to read my review to learn more.)

How Much Money Can You Make With Vindale Research?

As mentioned, Vindale Research states you can earn between $0.25 to $50 per survey.

Should you expect to sign up and instantly start earning $50 a pop?

I don’t think so.

Rather, I’d say most Vindale Research surveys pay between $0.50 to $2, or a bit more.

Since most take around 10 to 15 minutes to complete, you’re looking at around $8 per hour at most.

This comes out to around $100 a month on average.

Things like disqualifications or longer surveys slow down your earnings, so your hourly wage is likely closer to $5.

However, if you’re selective with the surveys you answer, I think Vindale Research is a reliable way to earn some extra cash.

No survey platform will ever let you quit your day job.

My advice is to treat Vindale Research like grocery money or fun money rather than relying on it for meaningful income.

I also suggest checking out the Vindale Research alternatives with lower payout requirements since you can enjoy your rewards faster.

Wrapping Up

I hope my Vindale Research review provides a realistic look at what you should expect with this survey website.

Vindale Research does a lot of things right.

Fast signup, decent pay-per-survey, cashback shopping, and job board are my favorite parts.

However, if you need to make money fast or replace your income entirely, this isn’t the right platform.

In fact, no survey site is.

Treat Vindale Research as a fun side hustle but nothing more than that.

If you stick with the platform, you can certainly reach $50 and enjoy some free PayPal money for your efforts.
